The League - Get some!
Grappling League
We have developed a grappling league to allow a little "Friendly" competition atmosphere. The league consists of up to 5 teams of four grappler's with one named alternate. The league runs on a round robin schedule with each team competing against each other over an 8-10 period. (Depends on if there are 4 or 5 team's) The first half of the season is gi and the second half as no-gi. If we have 5 teams, one team will get a bye week per week and help with officiating the matches of the other 4 teams.

League Rules are a little different than normal tournaments due to this being an open weight, open belt format. League Rules can be found HERE.
All matches will be held at The Des Moines Jiu Jitsu Academy on Wednesday evenings from 8pm until the matches are completed for the evening.
The cost is $20 per person for DMJJA Members or $30 for non-DMJJA students. You will need a list of all four members of your team and an alternate to be listed. Only the four members need to pay for league entry, the alternate does not need to pay.
